Dr. Alyssa Curry is thrilled to join the Scheier Dental and is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate care to patients of all ages. She believes in building strong relationships through trust, communication, and personalized treatment tailored to each individual’s needs.
Dr. Curry was born and raised in Cranford, NJ. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Virginia and went on to receive a Masters of Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Oral Biology from Rutgers University. She then earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine.
Following dental school, Dr. Curry completed a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center, where she served as Chief Resident and was also selected for Resident of the Year. During her training, she gained advanced experience in comprehensive general dentistry, including restorative care, endodontics, oral surgery, and cosmetic procedures. This intensive year sharpened her clinical judgment and enhanced her ability to provide comprehensive care with confidence and compassion.
Outside the office, Dr. Curry enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling and trying new restaurants, and staying active.
